There are three types of program being run by the ICETPU. One is open merit which is Government funded. Students only have to pay about 5000/- Rupees per year. Examination fees is excluded which is about 1000/- Rupees These are rough figures and may vary. This program is run in the morning time.

    Second type of program is self finance. A few seats are available for it. In self finance, students have to pay a lump sum fees of 200,000/- rupees for four years, to be deposited at the time of submission of the application forms plus the regular fees as paid by the students studying under open merit program. The lump sum 200,000/- is refundable if the applicant is not granted admission or if he decides to withdraw his application before the display of admission list. If the admission is granted and student decides not to accept, again the fees is refunded. These were policies until last year. This SHOULD be confirmed at the time of application of admission.

   The this type of program is Self Support in which a monthly fees of 4000/- Rs. is paid on monthly basis plus 20,000/- Rs. refundable security at the time of admission. Some facilities are not provided to these students which can be confirmed at the time of application.

A bad news for some of you that you now have to clear entry test in order to get admission to B.Sc. Chemical Engineering or B.Sc. Metallurgy and Material Sciences starting from this year. Entry test will carry thirty percent weightage.
