Admission Rules

1. 60% of the total seats for all categories of engineers.
2. 40% of the total seats of other categories.
3. The seat falling vacant for admission in any category shall be mutually transferable. However, total number of seats of the program shall remain for the particular session.
4. Only those candidates who have degrees duly recognized by University of the Punjab will be eligible to apply.
5. All the candidates seeking for admission have to qualify the admission test. Candidates securing 50% or above marks will be eligible for consideration for admission.
6. Marks of all those candidates who have passes their examination under Semester/ Term or Dual Examination System (internal and external) will be multiplied by 0.85 in order to equalize their marks with the Annual System.
7. In order to determine the merit with respect to admission of the prospective candidates, experienced candidate will be given weightage 1% of the mark for each year up to maximum of 5%.
8. Interviews will be conducted for diploma candidates and 10% weightage in given to the interview.
9. Criteria for admission of  Foreign Students will be determined by the Admission Committee.
